PARTICIPATING IN: All 4 shows

A woman with curly blonde hair, wearing a maroon and gold patterned jacket and matching pants, smiling and standing next to a table with a large floral arrangement, teacups, and decorative items.

The room was filled with sunlight, casting soft shadows across the fingers of a young girl as she hand-sewed clothes for one of the first iconic Barbie dolls of 1959.

That quiet moment marked the beginning of a lifelong passion for design and the art of clothing creation.

Through the 1970s and early 1980s, exploration continued — experimenting, designing, and working with many different mediums — until a clothing line finally emerged under a name inspired by my parents’ Danish heritage: JACOBSEN DESIGN.

Today, I am delighted to welcome you into The Little Shop, my studio space where each piece is thoughtfully created. My collections are made in linen, cotton, and silk — some hand-dyed, others hand-painted — and often reimagined from beautiful vintage embroidered table linens, lovingly repurposed into wearable art.

Each garment tells a story of craftsmanship, history, and individuality.
